7 Top Detox Juice Recipes for Your Juice Fast

Going on a 3-day long detox juice fast can give your metabolism a boost, help you lose weight, and aid in digestion. What this fast entails is consuming only detox drinks and water for a few days.

You’ll need to grab a juice every 2-3 hours in order for the fast to be effective. You don’t want to make the same juice over the three-day span. That would bore your taste buds.

You’re going to need a few recipes that you can try out. Grab your pen and pencil and add the ingredients for these juice cleanse recipes to your shopping list.

 

1. Ultimate Green 

This ultimate green juice drink contains a delicious mix of fruits and vegetables. The main ingredient is green apples. 

Apples are a great source of vitamin C. You'll get an added health boost from the polyphenols in the fruit as well. 

This recipe calls for two apples but you can add a little bit more than that if you want your juice to be sweeter. On top of the apples, you'll need to pick up a single cucumber, 3 celery stalks, half a lemon, 8 kale leaves, a piece of fresh ginger, and a sprig of mint if you want it. It's optional. 

Wash your fruits and veggies and chop them up into 2-inch squares. Toss everything into a juicer and process them until the juice is at the consistency you want.  

 

2. Orange and Ginger 

If you've just gotten done with a tough workout in the gym, drinking this orange and ginger detox drink will stop you from getting quite as sore. Oranges are chocked full of vitamin C and helpful antioxidants. 

Ginger and carrots both have compounds that aid in weight loss and digestion. Ginger also fights against stomach cramps and bloating. To make this powerful detox drink you'll need to get a carrot, 2 oranges, half an inch of crushed ginger, half an inch of crushed raw turmeric, and half a lemon.

Put the carrot and oranges in the juicer and process them. Pour the mixture into a blender and add in the ginger and turmeric.

Blend the ingredients together for about 30 seconds before you squeeze in your half a lemon. All that's left is to strain the juice and enjoy it. 

 

3. Tropical Carrot Apple 

The taste and health benefits of carrots and apples do make a nice combo that's full of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. 

When you're picking out apples to go in your juice, be sure to go for the firmer ones for the best results. To make this juice you're only going to need one. You will also have to get 2 large carrots, 2 pieces of fresh ginger, and half a cup of pineapple chunks. 

Wash, peel, and cut all of your ingredients before you place them in the juicer. Process them to your desired consistency and dig in. 

 

4. Lemon

Nothing hits the spot on a hot day quite like a nice tall glass of lemonade. This detox juice puts a refreshing spin on a classic and will leave you energized and glowing.  

You'll need to add 5 peeled lemons, 3 bunches of mint, half a cup of honey, and crushed ice to your shopping list. Put all of the ingredients in your blender (don't go easy on the ice) and blend it to a consistency that you like. That's all there is to it!

 

5. Lemon Apple

On top of the countless antioxidants from the apples and lemons in this drink, you'll also receive a huge supply of vitamin K from the cucumber. This light detox drink is the perfect thing to wake you up in the morning. 

To get started you'll need 2 lemons, 4 apples, 1 cup of water, and 2 cucumbers. Peel and chop all your fruits and vegetables and toss them in your juicer. Process the ingredients and enjoy your morning pick me up.  

 

6. Cucumber Mint 

If you've got an upset stomach, this cucumber mint detox drink will be the perfect thing to soothe it. Mint speeds up the digestive process, making it one of the best sick stomach cures around. 

On top of easing your stomach, you'll also get a hefty number of antioxidants and vitamins from the cucumber. It's also super refreshing. 

You're going to need a single cucumber, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 10 mint leaves, iced water, ice cubes, and black salt.  

Peel and chop your cucumber and toss it in your blender along with your mint leaves and water. Strain the mixture to get rid of the pulp and add the lemon juice and black salt. 

The mixture might be a little strong. You can balance things out by diluting it with a little more water if you need to. When you've got the taste right, pour the drink into a glass and garnish it with lemon rings and mint leaves. 

7. Red Zinger Breakfast Juice 

If you need a quick morning pick me up, try out this red zinger breakfast juice. It's got a great taste, the color is gorgeous, and it's full of the nutrients you need to get through your day. 

The beets alone contain vitamins, minerals, iron, vitamin C, folate, potassium, and manganese. You'll be putting 2 beets into your juicer along with 2 carrots, 2 lemons, and 2 apples. 

Once all you've got all the ingredients peeled, chopped, and put in the juicer, process it to your desired consistency. Pour it in a cup and start your day off right.
