Ginger Carrot Immunity Boosting Soup
Carrots and Ginger are two vegetables that provide you with great benefits. The most important benefit is on your immune system. These vegetables are rich with vitamin A and C. Vitamin A allow for the bone marrow to develop white blood cells. White blood cells are key for fighting against diseases in the body. Vitamin C also helps produce white blood cells in the body. Carrot and ginger aid in overall immunity of they body.
Both of these can be found in our Ginger Carrot Immunity Boosting Soup recipe:
4 large carrots
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
1 teaspoon of turmeric
a pinch of cayenne pepper, plus extra to serve/decoration
a small pinch of chili
1 tablespoon of soured cream, plus extra to serve (if desired)
200ml vegetable stock
1. Peel and roughly chop the carrots, grate 1 tablespoon of ginger then place all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Heat Until it’s piping hot, swirl through the soured cream and decorate with cayenne pepper if desired.
