Do you find yourself dreaming about flat abs, but then suddenly talk to yourself or think: 'My stomach is constantly bloated' 'I turned 40 and overnight I put weight on my stomach and thighs and nothing works' 'No amount of exercise makes me lose weight' 'I just feel fat'
If you do, chances are high that you have an imbalanced gut. In fact, you may even have a Leaky gut syndrome. Leaky gut syndrome is a rapidly growing condition that millions of people are battling with every day and many don t even know that they have it!
What people do know is that they have a lot of problems without an obvious solution. In fact, many of them are related to having a leaky gut:
- Low energy levels and fatigue
- Joint pain
- A slow and sluggish metabolism
- Weight gain
- Thyroid conditions
- Autoimmune conditions
- Digestive issues
- Skin conditions such as acne
The result is living in a body which you just don't recognise. It doesn't do what it used to do, and now nothing seems to work to make it better. And even worse, having an unbalanced gut can't really be fixed using a pill.
Why is this happening today? Well, we live under an enormous amount of stress. And being the intelligent humans that we are, we find strategies to cope with it. But we don't always understand the physical price we pay for those coping mechanisms. The stomach is a delicate yet vital part of your make up. It is the place where all your physical health is contained.
When your stomach doesn't work, everything else slowly but surely stops working. Hence that list above and hence you haven't got your fancy abs just yet. Starting a healthy diet and recognising all the daily toxic intakes, will help you improve your health and you will definitely be on the way to achieving that perfect body of yours.
Now some good news. A large part of your healing starts with moving to an alkaline diet because those foods are easily digested. I've included a fabulous, yet easy recipe for you to try. Once you have tried it, remember to think about how you feel when you've eaten it. Do you feel light, energised, focused? As opposed to heavy and tired? Can you slowly see those abs shining through? Let me know.
