If in doubt, remember, you can’t go wrong with water especially on this diet! During the first few days of your programme/diet, the body typically sheds water and minerals at an accelerated rate. Then over the duration of this programme, your ketone levels will increase, shedding even more water than usual. So, it’s super important to stay hydrated!
TOP TIP: Set Calendar reminders to drink water – It works! It’s on all my staff’s calendars and it’s so sweet watching them all hydrate regularly in the Nosh office...
'But I don’t like water, I’m not going to drink it!'
Like touched upon above, it’s vital to drink water, if you’re not going to bite the bullet then try adding some frozen fruits to a glass of water. Get creative with ice cubes, fruits, and herbs or mash it up and do all three ;)

TEA OR COFFEE?
Coffee and tea can be amazingly healthy Keto drinks and can be especially useful for beginners because it suppresses hunger and helps boost your energy levels. The only issue with tea and coffee is what you're adding to them.
For a few days, it’s time to ditch the sugar! If it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you.
Here’s what you’re allowed:
Plain Black Coffee (No Sugar!)
Black Teas (Great hot/ iced & typically gives you the most caffeine)
Green Teas (less caffeine than coffee – earthier taste)
Herbal Teas (without the buzz)
Funny Story & Sweetness Tip:
My marketer used to love Caramel Mocha's with an extra shot of coffee and caramel - It was literally like drinking syrup! Within 2 weeks he completely converted to Black Coffee with no sugar and has not reverted back to old habits within 4 months and we're still counting!
But if you do need sweetening up a little, then please only use a small amount of Stevia! :)
