What are the benefits of Vitamin B12?

It boosts your immunity system, and is one of of eight B vitamins that helps the body convert the food you eat into glucose, which gives you energy. Vitamin B12 has a number of additional functions. It is needed for production of elements of DNA, production of red blood cells, regeneration of bone marrow and the lining of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts, maintaining the health of the nervous system and spinal cord, and the prevention of megaloblastic anaemia. This is why our Vitamin B12 Shot is very effective.

FAQ's

1. Are the injections painful?

Definitely manageable, the pain is equivalent to a little pinch, takes a few seconds for the needle to go through and a couple more for the vitamins to go through.

2. Where will the nurse do the injection?

The injection is intramuscular and will be preformed either on the arm or on the bottom. Preferably on the bottom.

3. How long does it take?

Approximately 5 minutes in total.

4.Can I have them even If I am not deficient?

Of course, extra vitamins are always the best option.

Although for Vitamin D injection we will only be able to administer it if deficient ( recent blood test will be requested).

5. How often should I have the injections?

It depends by the reason you are having it and how fast your body goes through the vitamins.

But generally the injections are better in a cycle of 3 or 6.

6.Is the nurse qualified?

Yes, she is trained in infusions and canulation and has a nursing degree.

7. Do you do home/office visits?

Yes, we can send our nurse anywhere you are.

Fees do apply and change according to location.

A day of needless concern, a few seconds, a slight pinch, well over a week of amazing boosted energy

I booked my injection as I had heard about the benefits of B12, but I had also heard some tales of painful injections in people’s bottoms, and even worse ones of arms aching for days. The day before my jab, I was a bit concerned about the discomfort I might suffer, so that was my "day of concern". On the day, I was greeted by the lovely nurse, who immediately put me at my ease with her professional mannerism. The nurse explained everything, including that it was better to have the injection in the bigger muscle of my bottom rather than my arm, as it would not ache afterwards, and she was perfectly correct. The moment had arrived as laid on the couch and lowered my underwear a little to expose the site for my injection. I was a bit nervous, however, the nurse was talking to me the whole time, explaining what she was doing and no sooner did I feel the very slightest of a scratch for "a few seconds" as the needle and vitamins went in, than she was saying it was all done, I could hardly believe it! I let the clinic feeling a bit deflated really, nothing much had happened after all the worrying and anticipation, I wondered how something I had hardly felt at all, could make any real difference, indeed, It did cross my mind that as I had not felt anything to speak of, had I actually had the right thing? As the afternoon went on, I did feel a bit more energised than I had in recent days, and that night, I slept like a log. The next day I woke up full of beans and rearing to take on the world, it was just amazing what difference such an insignificant little treatment could make! My new heightened level of energy lasted for "well over a week" and to be honest, I didn't really notice as the effects very gradually wore off and it was about a month before I felt the desire to have another injection. The next time, there was no needless worrying, I cannot honestly say that I actually felt the injection go into my bottom at all (I think mainly because I had not hyped myself up to expect discomfort) and I actually think that the effect lasted even longer. There is a special offer on right now, so I am booking a whole course this time to make it even better value for money. My advice is this, if you are thinking about a B12 complex shot at NoshDetox, then "concerns" are needless, you hardly feel the "slight pinch" as the injection is administered by the lovely nurse and the energy boost "lasts for ages" , just go for it, you have nothing to lose and a whole lot of energy to gain.
