At least 1 in 5 people are Vitamin D deficient...that’s crazy huh? Yes, it means you need to make changes to your diet to ensure you’re getting enough nutrients but sometimes that can be challenging and how do you know you’re getting enough? You can’t continue to test your vitamin and mineral levels daily, that’ll be expensive, time consuming and well, crazy! In addition to that taking oral Vitamin D supplements reduces absorption while going through your bodies digestive system.

The Benefits of Vitamin D:

  • Regulate calcium metabolism.
  • Regulate calcification of the bones.
  • Regulating the body's use of phosphorus (a mineral that is important for bone structure).
  • Increasing the absorption of calcium from the gut.
  • Decreased excretion from the kidneys.
  • Assists with depositing minerals into the teeth.
  • Helps maintain nervous system, heart function and normal blood clotting.

There are times, however, when we are not receiving enough Vitamin D naturally like in the winter or on a rainy day, this is when we will start to experience the lack of Vitamin D and need to find another source.

Our Vitamin D Injection is the perfect solution for when you’re lacking your ‘sunshine vitamin’. Start feeling healthier and happier within minutes with our 5-second shot!

WE REQUIRE RECENT BLOOD TEST BEFORE WE CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT.

FAQ's

1. Are the injections painful?

Definitely manageable, the pain is equivalent to a little pinch, takes a few seconds for the needle to go through and a couple more for the vitamins to go through.

2. Where will the nurse do the injection?

The injection is intramuscular and will be preformed either on the arm or on the bottom. Preferably on the bottom.

3. How long does it take?

Approximately 5 minutes in total.

4.Can I have them even If I am not deficient?

Of course, extra vitamins are always the best option.

Although for Vitamin D injection we will only be able to administer it if deficient ( recent blood test will be requested).

5. How often should I have the injections?

It depends by the reason you are having it and how fast your body goes through the vitamins.

But generally the injections are better in a cycle of 3 or 6, every 3 weeks

6.Is the nurse qualified?

Yes, she is trained in infusions and cannulation and has a nursing degree.

7. Do you do home/office visits?

Yes, we can send our nurse anywhere you are. Fees do apply and change according to location.
